About

The Department of Sociology began its journey in the year 2002-03, but honours was introduced only recently in the year 2009. Being comparatively new in the arena, we try to give our best to our students.

Salient Features:

  • Primary focus is to prepare students for university examination with regular classes.
  • Classroom lectures following text and reference books.
  • Remedial classes for better assimilation of the subject.
  • Group discussion, writing skill are parts of teaching methods.
