About

The department of Economics offers undergraduate courses in both Advanced (Hons.) and General Stream.

Salient Features:

  • Primary focus is to prepare students for University exams with regular classes, out of the class room guidance and arranging special lectures by competent teachers affiliated to other colleges.
  • Students are also encouraged to undertake small projects (incorporating collection and analysis of data), write papers and give seminars to have an idea of the applied side of the subject.
  • Effort is also being made to groom students for future job market by arranging sessions on Group Discussion and Mock Interview (conducted by personnel from the government and corporate sectors).
