- Enhances quality of teaching learning through student-centric activities apart from regular and conventional teaching methods that is students’ seminar, group discussion, quiz contest etc.
- Encourages use of more ICT-enabled teaching-learning methods.
- Motivates teachers and students to attend subject oriented and value based workshops and lectures, seminars.
- Motivates publication of research papers and organizes subject oriented seminars, special lectures and conferences conducted by other institutions.
- Takes initiative to organize seminars on quality assurance of the institution and other relevant topics
- Seminars conducted by the IQAC:
o Two State Level Seminars on Does the undergraduate syllabus equip the students for present job market? in May 2008 and 2009.
o One National Level UGC sponsored seminar on Teachings and Ideas of Swami Vivekananda in April 2012.
o One State Level UGC sponsored seminar on Quality Assurance in Institutions of Higher Education in April 2015.
- Motivates students to take initiatives in outreach and extension activity, to take part in inter and intra college literary competitions and cultural competitions to nurture literary skills and excellence in performing art.
- Encourages participating in sports to enhance physical fitness.
- Takes initiatives to enhance employability of students through Career and Counseling Cell by organizing career-oriented training programmes throughout the year.
- Takes initiatives to collect feedback from different stakeholders of the college.
- Submits Annual Quality Assurance Report of the institutional performance to the NAAC.
